Out of nearly 100,000 chess programs worldwide, ChessGuru is honored to receive the FIDE School Award – Gold, recognizing our innovation, global impact, and commitment to making chess accessible for all. We are proud to be the first-ever student-run chess program to earn this prestigious international distinction. Along with the award, ChessGuru has been granted over 500 premium ChessKid accounts and numerous chess supplies for every one of our chapter schools: resources that will directly empower our students and communities. This achievement belongs to every player, mentor, and partner who has made ChessGuru what it is today.

Mission

Our mission is to uplift children by teaching them chess, fostering critical thinking, and building confidence through our nonprofit programs and community engagement.
